When the Accumula Shipstation Integration is enabled, Accumula will send your Shopify Orders, including split orders, to Shipstation automatically and create fulfillments to Shopify. The process follows these steps:
- Shopify Order Received
- Accumula creates the Shopify Order in point of sale as an Order or Invoice. Based on your Shipstation settings, either Orders or Invoices are sent on to Shipstation.
- As Shipments are created in Shipstation from the Shopify Orders, Accumula creates fulfillments for those shipments in Shopify on the Shopify Order.
- For each fulfillment, Shopify sends a shipment notification to the customer with tracking info.
For the Shopify orders to be fulfilled by the Shipstation integration, Shopify Auto Fulfillment must be enabled in your Accumula Settings.
SKU Requirements
For a fulfillment to be created successfully in Shopify, all Products must have a unique SKU. This SKU will populate from the CustomSKU/Product Code field in Lightspeed or the Item # in Heartland. It is required for fulfillment to be successful.
Note: Merging or splitting orders in Shipstation will prevent them from being updated on Shopify.
