Shopify was unable to create the product (Product Name) because two or more of the variants are duplicates. Please check (Product Name) in Lightspeed and ensure the Child Products have unique Size and Color. You may edit the Size/Color or uncheck 'Sell on WebStore' to avoid future errors.
This error means that the most recent data received from Point of Sale indicates two or more variants contain the same size and color options.
Shopify will reject the product data completely if any two variants have duplicate size and color values. This also applies across to the third attribute for products with three attributes.
Note: It is easy to confuse this error with Shopify's Duplicate Variant error for an existing product.
Please review all current and web enabled child products of this product in Point of Sale for the following:
- Unique Size and Color combination.
- Size or Color values are not blank.
- Size or Color values are not only a hyphen "-" or space " ".
Note: Unsupported duplication tools in POS will often cause this type of error. Sometimes simply re-saving the variant in POS will resolve this issue.
