Heartland Multistore Settings will be visible when multiple Heartland stores are enabled in your Accumula account. Each feature can be controlled on a per location basis.
Store Priority and Fulfillments
The Heartland Order and Fulfillment process is unique. Each order is assigned an Order Source Location in Heartland where the revenue will be recognized. Inventory from any store can then be used to fulfill the order in the "Ship From" settings. Fulfilled Line Items on Open Orders can then be Invoiced to the store that holds the inventory.
Accumula fully supports automating this process. Configuration is performed for both Ecommerce and Heartland:
- Order Source Location and Inventory settings are controlled in Accumula's Shopify or Magento settings pages Apps > Shopify > Orders or Apps > Magento > Orders
- Heartland Fulfillments are configured via the Routing Settings at Apps > Heartland.
All inventory routing is determined intelligently using a combination of inventory and store priority. Accumula syncs your inventory continuously and uses the Store Priority List to determine where to assign inventory from first. Set the Store Priority, as desired, by dragging each row to the desired position. You may also turn Routing on/off per store and choose the register that will be used when invoicing orders.
When processing an order, Accumula will try to fulfill from a single store to minimize the number of shipments. It looks first in the top store to assign the inventory, if the line items are not all available in that store, it will try the next one, and so on. If no store has inventory for all line items, the inventory will be split between the first locations that have inventory for each item.
