To ensure the most accurate tax calculations in point of sale, Accumula offers Match on Tax Rate mode. When enabled, Accumula will automatically match the Tax Rate Total applied on orders in Shopify to a Tax Rate in point of sale and assign the rate to the associated Order, Invoice, or Sale. Match on Tax Rate is not available for Heartland and Lightspeed Onsite.
You can select the “Match on Tax Rate” feature by selecting it in the Taxes tab in the Accumula Settings Pane:

Note: When “Match on Tax Rate” is On for US Stores, “I want to specify taxes automatically” in Shopify must be switched to On.

Lightspeed Retail
When using Match on Tax Rate with Lightspeed Retail, Accumula will create a Shopify Taxes sales tax with rate specific Tax Classes beneath it, each named Shopify "Rate" (ie. Shopify 9.5, Shopify 6.7, etc). In order for Accumula to create various tax rates, first, you will need to create a Sales Tax called "Shopify Taxes" with a rate of 0% in Lightspeed Retail. You can review this in Lightspeed at Settings > Sales Tax > Shopify Taxes. Please see screenshot below.
Note: Be sure that you have created a Sales Tax called "No Tax" with a rate of 0% in Lightspeed Retail for eCom sales that have no tax.
