In some cases, you may want to push a product to Magento that isn’t quite ready for shoppers to see. For instance, if the product still needs HTML formatting of the Description or is missing photos. Channels allows you to control the visibility of your products using Tags/Keywords in point of sale.
By placing the word “Hidden” in the Tags/Keywords, Channels sets the Status of the product in Magento to “Disabled”. When “Hidden”, you will be able to edit the product in Magento but it will not be visible to Customers.
To make the product visible, simply remove the word “Hidden” from the Tags/Keywords in point of sale. This will change the Status to “Enabled” in Magento.

For consistent results, be sure to use only this method for Hiding products. It will overwrite settings set manually in Magento.
NOTE: Since Child Products are set to “Not Visible Individually” by the Connector, they are not affected by the “Hidden” flag. Setting a Parent Product to “Hidden” will automatically hide all of it’s associated Child products.
