Magento users have the power to manage inventory in Magento using features triggered by Tags/Keywords. Feature Tags are applied to Products in Point of Sale and processed and filtered out of the Tags sent to Magento. They work whether or not the Update Tags setting is On or Off.
"instock" tag or keyword
In some cases, you may want a product in Magento to always appear as in stock, regardless of whether the product is in inventory. For instance, if the product is normally drop-shipped or is a special order product. Accumula allows you to control the visibility of your products using tags/keywords in point of sale.
By placing the words “In Stock” in the tags/keywords, Accumula sets the manage stock setting of the product in Magento to “No”. This ensures that the product appears as in stock at all times.
Note: "instock" or "In Stock" can be used in Lightspeed Onsite. For other POS solutions please use "instock".
Note: This tag should be applied to the items/products with inventory, and not to the parent matrix/configurable itself.
Example in Lightspeed Onsite
Example in Lightspeed Retail
Result in Magento > Product > Inventory
Note: The product can be returned to regular stock management by removing the "instock" tag/keyword from the product and saving.
