Magento 1 Legacy - Tax Inclusive Pricing Setup

If your business is located in an area that mandates Tax Inclusive Pricing, you can utilize Tax Inclusive Pricing by adjusting settings in Magento, POS, and the Upload tab of the Accumula Settings Pane. First, be sure that your Tax Settings are set correctly in the Accumula Settings Taxes tab:

When using Tax Inclusive Pricing the Tax Mode should be set to Match Tax Code Name.  If you're using a POS that can have tax inclusive and tax exclusive pricing sources your Price Source should be set to one that is Tax Inclusive on the Upload Page:

In Magento, there are several tax settings that must be adjusted. Please consult your Magento Developer if you're not sure what to change.

We also recommend setting the following settings in System > Configuration > Tax:

For Lightspeed Onsite Users

If using Lightspeed Onsite, go to Tools > Setup > Basics > Taxes and make sure that “Show Specialized Tax Features” and “Tax Inclusive Prices” are checked, and press “Save”. We recommend also using the “Recommended Calculation” method:

NOTE: If your store will be selling Internationally to other Countries that have different tax structures, it may be necessary to further customize these settings and your Magento store to ensure that taxes are calculated properly.
