A new sync between eCommerce and the Channels Cloud is attempted 3 minutes after the most recent sync finishes. Sync time is primarily determined by the number of products to be uploaded or updated in the sync. By adjusting various Update Settings to OFF, you can shorten this process.
On average, it can take up to 15 seconds per product. We highly recommend uploading or updating products in groups of 500 or less.
Here is a conservative estimate of time it would take to complete a 10,000 product upload:
10,000 Products x .25 minutes = 41 hours
The size and volume of images being uploaded or updated can extend this time frame.
Note: We recommend setting Update Images to OFF when possible as this has the largest impact on sync time. If you do not need images to sync for new products, please contact Support to disable image sync entirely.
