Installation of Accumula is a 3 stage process:
3 Stage Process
- Initial Setup and Data Prep
- Installation and Data Sync to Accumula
- Authorization of Data Integration to Other Systems
Once the initial setup has been completed in Lightspeed Onsite, you may install the Channels for Mac application and begin syncing your Lightspeed Onsite data to Accumula.
Once the initial sync of Lightspeed data to Accumula is completed, you will receive an email notifying you that you may now authorize your other integrations.
If you are on Startup (formerly Pro) Plan or above, Accumula will start attempting to match products to Shopify immediately after you authorize Shopify or after giving the go ahead to start Magento. Depending on the number of products you have in Lightspeed, it may take several hours for you to see products created or updated.
Once this initial sync is complete, we suggest testing by updating the "Web Short Description" of few products. Add the word “updated” to the end of the description to ensure that update is working.
Note: If you have multiple Lightspeed Onsite locations and are using Accumula Multistore, be sure to follow the Multistore Setup Instructions.
Initial Sync to Accumula
Depending on the total number of products and customers in your system, the initial sync process can take as long as 24 hours. This process must complete before Accumula can integrate to other systems.
Initial Sync to Other Systems
Depending on the number of products and images set to “Sell on WebStore” initially, it may take up to 48 hours to upload your product data to another system. On average, it can take up to 15 seconds per product.
Consider this conservative estimate for 10,000 products:
10,000 products x .25 minutes = 41 hours
For best results, please plan your schedule accordingly.
