Bulk product updates may be processed using Lightspeed's Import Tools. To update web products in bulk you can export products from Lightspeed and then using Lightspeed Onsite’s Import Tools to check or re-check “Web” for multiple products at once.
Note: No change actually needs to be made to any products updated in this way for the product modified date to be updated.
The computer used to initiate this bulk update will be in use by Lightspeed until the update completes. We recommend performing Bulk Updates after hours so that this has the least impact on your business.
Tip: You can also upload spreadsheets of new Product Codes/SKUs using Import Tools.
Exporting Products
First, you will want to export your Web products from Lightspeed. This can be done in the main product window by selecting, then exporting, all web enabled products.
- Go to Products in Storemaster.
- Add "Web" and "ID" to your View Columns.
- Search all Product IDs for "P-", press Enter, then press "New".
- Change the Smart Find criteria to match the below image:
All of the following are true:
- Product ID contains P-
- Web is checked.
- Current is checked.
- Export the file from the Action Menu at the bottom of the screen:
Update Products
Next, update products using the export you just created so that the products are marked as modified by Lightspeed and sent via the Lightspeed API to Accumula.

Important: Be careful and take your time when performing bulk uploads.
- Backup your Lightspeed Database by navigating to Tools > Utilities > Backup Database.
- Go to Tools > Imports Tools > Products and Open File.
- Set the options to:
- Update Products
- Matching on: Product ID.
- IMPORTANT: Depending on the version of Lightspeed Onsite:
- Click the action menu to Deselect All.
- Click the checkbox to the right of "Omit This Record" to Deselect All.
- Drag the fields on the right to match them to the associated fields on the left.
- Product ID
- Web

This process can be used to upload, update, or delete products from your online store. You may set all products to Web “Yes” or Web “No”, as desired.
Setting Web or Current to "No"
Changing Web to "No" may trigger an action on your online store according to your Non Current Product Action:
- Shopify Product Options - Non Current Product Action
- Magento Product Options - Non Current Product Action
Reminder: Be careful and take your time when performing bulk uploads.
