The customer on each order is matched by email address to the existing customers sent by Lightspeed Onsite to the Accumula integration. Their shipping and billing address information in the Point of Sale is updated with the shipping and billing information on the ecommerce order. This allows you to keep a complete customer purchase history within Lightspeed Onsite.
If a customer uses a different email address for their online account than the email
address in Point of Sale, a new customer card will be created when the order is
downloaded.
NOTE: Lightspeed Onsite does not support a Ship To Name for Customers.
WARNING: Lightspeed's API does not notify connected integrations when any data is merged or deleted. To avoid Lightspeed API Errors please do not merge or delete any customer records.
