Lightspeed Retail - Items Overview

Accumula integrates your item and item matrix data from Lightspeed Retail to your online store, simplifying your inventory management, and saving time. With Accumula, you can:

• Upload items from Lightspeed Retail to one or more online stores
• Update items in your online store
• Control which product fields are updated in your online store
• Use unique pricing levels for online pricing

Changes saved to items in Lightspeed Retail will trigger updates to the same item in your online store based on your integration settings. This includes changes to product, variant, and inventory data.

You can also create, update, and backup Lightspeed items quickly and easily using Accumula's built-in Data Tools.

Item Types

Accumula supports all types of Lightspeed Retail items and matrices:

• Single
• Non-Inventoried
• Assembly
• Boxes

Item Matrices

Item Matrices in Lightspeed Retail play an important role in determining whether an online product is created with variant options.  If you want an item to have sizes, colors, or three attributes in your online store, you should first configure it in a matrix with the same options in Lightspeed.

Descriptions

A unique description is recommended for single items and item matrices. Unique descriptions also help customers recognize products. 

Short Description

For stores in North America when the "Web Short Description" from the "Web Store" tab isn't blank it becomes the "Product Title" in Shopify. If no web short description exists, the "Description" will be used as the Shopify Product Title instead.

Web Ready Tags

A ready web tag is required for each of your items and matrices to upload to your online store.

Valid Web Ready Tags include:

• Accumula
• Online
• Webstore
• Shopify
• Magento

NOTE: Lightspeed has instructed users to avoid using the "Sell on Web Store" checkbox.
