Lightspeed Retail - Customers

Customers are created or updated in Lightspeed Retail automatically as Sales Orders are downloaded. Customers are matched to existing customers by email address. If there is a match, the existing customer is updated. If no match is found, a new customer is created. 





Shipping Address
Lightspeed Retail handles Customer Shipping info separate from the Customer Info using Shipments. The Customer's Shipping Address is attached to each downloaded Sale as a Shipment.
