Locations can be added to Connect, Connect Plus, and Scale plans to support multistore routing and splitting. Multistore settings are locked for some plans.
Multistore Tab
The Multistore tab will list all locations enabled in your Accumula account. All configurable multistore settings are found here. Each feature can be controlled on a per location basis.
Smart Order Routing and Store Priority
When Order Routing is enabled Accumula will use the Store Priority List to determine where to route orders to first. You set the Store Priority, as desired, by dragging each row to the desired position.
Accumula will look first in the top store then work down the list. If no location has inventory for all line items, the order will be routed to the top store.
Whenever an order is routed, the routing is written back to Shopify in the Order Notes so that it appears in Shopify and in the resulting point of sale Invoices. The Order is also tagged in Shopify with the fulfillment locations that received items from the order allowing you to easily create Saved Searches in Shopify to identify orders routed each location.
Order Splitting
When both Order Routing and Order Splitting are on, Accumula will try to fulfill the order from a single location first by looking first in the top store then work down the list. If no single location can fulfill all line items and quantities, the order will be split between the first locations that have inventory for each item.
Quantity Splitting
If a location does not have the quantity needed to fulfill the order, quantities for the line item will also be split and assigned to locations to ensure that the full quantity is fulfilled.
Settings
These features are controlled by the master switches on the Multistore tab. Each feature can be enabled and disabled on a location by location basis.
