Your Accumula Integration is set by default to Match on Tax Code Name. The integration will match the Tax Name on orders in your Ecommerce solution to a Tax Name in Lightspeed Retail. The matching Tax Name will be assigned to the associated Sale created in Lightspeed Retail.
Note: If no matching Tax Name is found the order may not download, or may download with the incorrect tax assigned to the Sale in Lightspeed.
Setup in Lightspeed Retail
Sales Tax for No Tax
Navigate in Lightspeed to Settings > Sales Taxes > Tax Rates.
Ensure a Sales Tax named "No Tax" with a rate of 0% exists or is created.
Setup Taxes per Region
The Tax Name of your Lightspeed Retail Sales Taxes must match the Tax Name in your Ecommerce solution (see Shopify - Match On Tax Code Name or Magento - Match on Tax Code Name).
Note: You may have Sales Taxes setup for in-store use only that do not need to match online tax names.
USA Stores
Tax Rates must be setup for each State you collect taxes in either online or in store.
Canadian Stores
You must have a unique Tax Name setup for each Province individually. Using PST, or GST for multiple provinces will lead to miss-matched taxes.
