Startup (formerly Pro) Plan and above users have more power to manage inventory through special features triggered by Tags. Tags are applied to Products in Point of Sale and processed and filtered out of the Tags sent to Shopify. They work whether or not the Update Tags setting is On or Off.
The "masterqty" Tag applies only to Multistore accounts that use the Aggregated Inventory feature. When the "masterqty" Tag is applied, only the inventory quantity from the Top Store in the Priority List will be sent to Shopify.
The "masterqty" Tag allows the inventory quantity for certain Products to be sent only from your warehouse or primary location, giving you more control over online and instore inventory. This is especially useful during Product Releases, allowing you to hold back inventory in yoru brick and mortar stores to ensure availability.
The "masterqty" tag applies only to Products that are Single Products or Products that are part of a Matrix in Point of Sale (products that are linked to Shopify Variants). "Masterqty" has no impact Accumula accounts that do not have Multistore features enabled.
Other Feature Tags available include: hidden, instock, and noinventory.
