Shopify Error: Title is too Long

Shopify was unable to create/update the product for Product [Web Short Description] because it's title is too long. Please check for Product [Web Short Description] in Lightspeed and ensure that short description is less than 255 characters in order to avoid future errors.

This error is returned when data sent to Shopify is too long.  Shopify has a limit on how many characters can be used for the product Title.

In either Lightspeed Onsite or Lightspeed Retail the Web Short Description will be used for the Title in Shopify if it is not blank.  If the Web Short Description is being used as a long description of the product, the solution will be to copy the product data from the Web Short Description to the Web Long Description.  You can then either delete the data in the Web Short Description, or replace it with a short product Title.
