Lightspeed Retail - Create Sales as Quotes

The "Create Sales as" setting for Lightspeed Retail allows you to choose whether to create Sales which are paid and deduct from inventory immediately, or Quotes, which are unpaid and are not deducted from inventory until completed by staff. 

Create as Sales is the default setting. Generally, Accumula recommends creating sales as Sales, however, creating sales as Quotes may work well for:

• Wholesale businesses who sell on account and might adjust the order or pricing after the order is accepted
• Retailers who order or assemble products on demand

This setting is found in Apps > Lightspeed Retail and applies as the default for all sales routed to Lightspeed Retail.

NOTE: When set to create as Quotes, Quotes can be found in Lightspeed Retail under Customers > Quotes.
