When Return Refunds to Order Source is ON, returned inventory from Ecommerce Refunds will be returned to your Order Source location and will not be returned to availability without action by your team.
If your Ecommerce returns are processed by a Distribution Center or Ecommerce Warehouse, once the inventory is judged to be resalable, create a Transfer Order in Heartland to move the inventory from your Order Source location to the Distribution Center or Ecommerce Warehouse. We recommend performing this task daily to ensure that inventory is available for sale.
If the returned inventory is judged to not be resalable, best practice is to create an Inventory Adjustment in Heartland to adjust the inventory out using the Adjustment Reason your company requires.
