Lightspeed Retail has a lot of reports to choose from and many ways to filter but there are a few things to keep in mind when reporting in Lightspeed to find Shopify orders easily
Lightspeed Filters
Lightspeed's reports have filters that when used properly can narrow down sales relevant to your search at that moment. Here are some filters under the advanced search option within a report that are important when reviewing Shopify orders:
Employee
If you do not have an employee dedicated to Shopify orders be sure to add one by navigating to Settings > Employee Setup within your Lightspeed account.
The employee filter will allow you to quickly filter to your employee associated with Shopify orders. This can be found on most reports.
Location
If you have multiple locations you can filter your orders by the location the order downloaded to. Keep in mind that the Lightspeed Retail reports filter to the location you are logged into by default.
Date
Pro tip: You can quickly filter by the month by clicking on the date in the report to open the date range and select the month name. Try using the different date filters for shortcut filtering.
Reference #
This is specific to the Totals report only, but you have a filter for Reference #. You can either simply type "Shopify" or the specific order number you are looking for. All orders downloaded from Shopify to Lightspeed will have the Shopify Order number in the Reference # field of the order.
